Configured from lengths of welded steel that are inflated like a balloon using high-pressure air, it serves as both a dramatic sculpture and invitingly languid seating. In either inky carbon or silvery stainless steel finish, the chaise is also much lighter than it first appears since minimal material is needed in production—a fascinating paradox of the innovative process.
