Description
With a sculptural, puffed-up shape, Tom Dixon's bowl steals the show in brightly reflective polished aluminum. Drawing on his own past in metalworking, the oversize vessel is hammered and braised in India by skilled artisans who still possess those vanishing skills. Every mark and indentation from the process is preserved in the finished product as a testament to its hand-workmanship. With an organic form that recalls seedpods, the bowl is watertight and can be used for floral arrangements or as an ice bucket and is also dry-food safe.
