Puffer Armchair

Description

Borrowing the inflated contours and marshmallowy-soft feel, Philippe Malouin takes design inspiration from the ubiquitous feather-filled parka. His experimental armchair Puffer features feather-pocket construction for a similarly soft and rounded kind of expression. Developed with the product team at SCP’s specialist factory in Norfolk, England, the seating’s embracing comfort also testifies to the enduring possibilities of traditional upholstery-making and is constructed with 65% natural and sustainable materials including a FSC solid beech and plywood frame.
