Fontana Pendant Lamp

Barcelona's André Ricard took the design cue for his 1970 pendant from famed Argentinian artist Lucio Fontana, who rocked the art world by slashing his neat oil paintings. Similarly, the namesake light takes form as a futuristic half-spare bisected by an unmistakable slit that subtly illuminates the periphery. The glossy white metallic shade has a matte-finish interior that houses an efficient built-in LED light plate and translucent acrylic diffuser to lend a soft and glare-free atmospheric glow.
