Teaming up with Barcelona maker Punt, the designers juxtapose the textures of a shade in natural cotton textile, a rich walnut wood base and a simple black nickel footing. The light source is pure 21s century though—an integrated dimmable LED tempered by an acrylic diffuser for even, glare-free illumination.
