The larger storage piece from Simon Legald’s geometric Rib series extends the design motif suggested by Nordic summerhouses from the 1960s adorned with wooden slats. Similarly, the sideboard in oak veneer with solid-oak slats and base lends a pleasing variation to the door fronts, which open with a push latch for an unmarred expanse. As versatile as it is handsome, the larger Rib can serve as a TV stand or for storage in a hallway, bedroom or dining room, equipped with removable shelves that can be adjusted in height.
