Helsinki-based Studio Kaksikko specializes in ceramic tableware and partners Salla Luhtasela and Wesley Walters say this sculptural vase was inspired by a doorway they saw in Paris. A ridged surface adds texture and the irregular oval form is offset by the refined dent that doubles as a carrying handle. Ridge Vase comes in a choice of warm terra-cotta or off-white earthenware, glazed on the outside and left unfinished on the inside.
