Description

The Onga series reflects quiet craftsmanship with a focus on natural wood and careful detailing. Each piece is built on a sturdy, solid-wood frame with a smooth protective finish that highlights the grain. A defining feature is the low back paired with a slatted rear structure, allowing the wood’s character and joinery to remain clearly visible. Although broad in scale, the sofa maintains a grounded, open feel thanks to its balanced proportions and the lightness created by the wooden slats. True to Hida’s “forest to furniture” philosophy, the Onga series celebrates the life of the wood, the hands that shaped it, and the intention for the furniture to be enjoyed for many years.
