Description

Known for his groundbreaking and innovative pairing of metal tubing and perforated metal sheet, midcentury designer Mathieu Matégot's wall shelf plays off the metal’s opposing qualities of hardness and transparency. His 1955 Dédal Shelf follows a geometric motif, in a wide choice of true lacquered colors. The graphic shape almost seems to anticipate combining one or more units in ever more imaginative wall groupings.
