Designed for added comfort, the Oxbend Chair with Seat Pad features a non-slip leather cushion that complements the chair’s sculpted curves and wedged-tenon leg joinery. Made from domestic hardwoods—walnut, white ash, or charcoal ash—each piece is finished with a VOC-free hardwax oil for lasting durability and a natural appearance. The seat pad is offered in five premium Sørensen leathers sourced from Denmark: Black, Olive, Walnut, Saddle Brown, and Nubuck Ecru. Stitched and assembled in the leather studio adjacent to Fernweh Woodworking’s Bend, Oregon workshop, the design reflects founder Justin Nelson’s admiration for Danish designer Hans Wegner.
