Aaro Ceiling Lamp

Description

Hamburg-based designer Simon Schmitz adapts his striking Aaro as a ceiling light, with its fluid movement based on a single spherical joint at the fixture’s axis. Allowing it to move in any direction, the lissome arm with an elegant counterbalance puts the LED illumination exactly where it is needed. Paris maker DCW Éditions' penchant for timeless expression comes through clearly in the spare black anodized-aluminum and steel armature.
