Description
The father of Danish modernism, Kaare Klint set out on a great design adventure with his 1933 Safari Chair, suggested by Indian Roorkhee chairs used by the British military. An early example of self-assembled furniture with joints that grew more stable when occupied, Klint refined the seating with suitable proportions, fine materials and unerring craftsmanship.
