CH24 Wishbone Chair
Description
The essence of Danish Modern, Wishbone Chair was Hans J. Wegner's very first design for Carl Hansen & Søn, in continuous production since it debuted in 1950. With its iconic steam-bent profile, Wegner developed the characteristic Y-shaped back that assures its fabled comfort and elegant form. More than 100 steps are needed in making each chair — the hand-woven seat alone takes a skilled craftsman about an hour with 120 meters of paper cord — assuring its impressive durability and enduring style.
