Oblique originated when Claesson Koivisto Rune's designer-architect trio were decorating a Norwegian hotel and needed a desk with thin proportions and minimal dimensions. Diagonal lines suggest a airy floating sensation, as reflected in its name which means tilting in French. Handmade in Sweden, the piece can be used as a side table or desk and is fashioned from square steel rods with a metal plate top and finished with a durable and smooth metallic bronze powder coating.
