Rikyu Sideboard
Description
Gabriel Tan’s design for a wooden sideboard is inspired by traditional Japanese houses built on stilts and with sliding tatami doors, reflecting the importance of precision and harmony in that country’s architecture. To wit: Rikyu’s handles and legs are visually aligned when its glass doors are either fully opened or closed and the storage piece is constructed in solid oak or ash in a selection of finishes.
